Leave Rules

1. If a student remains absent without leave for more than 7 days continuously, his/her name is liable to be struck off from the college rolls. However, he/she may seek re-admission by applying to the Principal. Principal has the authority to impose fine for that purpose. This will to be ordinarily allowed unless the Principal is fully satisfied that the circumstances leading to the absence without leave of the student concerned were beyond her control and absence was justifiable.

2. Leave will be granted by the Principal on the recommendation of the mentor. An application for leave shall not be entertained unless it is submitted on the prescribed form. Ordinarily no leave is granted during the training period.

3. Those who absent themselves without leaves during the course will be fined with Rs. 100/- per day

4. Those who absent themselves without leave on days immediately preceding or following the autumn, spring or winter break will have to pay a special fine of Rs.80/- per day.

NOTE: Medical leave or any other leave is not counted towards lectures. The students will have to attend 80% of the lectures delivered in each subject (in Theory 80% and in Practical 90%) to be eligible for annual for annual university examination and final practical examination.
